living in oklahoma isn't much. yeah, it's a great place to raise a family or to get away from a hectic place like california or new york, but for me its quite boring. until tonight. i was taken to a little slice of heaven named paseo; arts district. to say i was mesmerized by it was an understatement. in all my years of living here, i had never heard of this place & it was AMAZING! the lights and the smells coming from the picasso cafe (where i had the best chicken and mushroom sandwich) was beautiful. there was art and life on that 1/3 mile of street; vendors and wacky shoppes were just the beginning. i couldn't stop taking pictures. it was mind-blowing that places like that existed in such a bible-belt and conservative state. i felt so alive, in a way i had never experienced before. i guess being there just reiterated the idea that i have so much i want to do in life that right now i just haven't. this is the day i change that and begin to experience life.
so, if you're reading this i hope you join me as i make it my mission to experience life whether good or bad comes from it isn't really a factor...it'd just make for a really good story.
